VRS and Coordinate Systems

Abstract:
The talk will focus on the various coordinate systems adopted and in use by different jurisdictions across Canada, and how these relate to current VRS correction services.
Bio:
James Ferguson, BSc, OLS, OLIP, is the General Manager of Tulloch Mapping Solutions. He is a Professional licensed surveyor, and is responsible for providing executive oversight of the division, which focuses on the use of mobile LiDAR solutions for engineering grade mapping for highway corridors, rail corridors, and municipal and mining applications. James is responsible for leading a management team of highly skilled individuals that oversee the daily operation of Tulloch Mapping.
James has over 30 years of experience in management as well as legal, topographic and engineering surveys. He has been responsible for worldwide operations of a large mapping company as well as corporate re-branding, internal re-organization and re-structuring.
