New markets are constantly emerging in mapping and positioning that are far outside the core markets most Surveying manufacturers are use to serving.   These markets and how to address them via new GNSS data formats and delivery methods are part of the challenge SmartNet faces moving forward in this ever changing landscape.  Even more challenging is how to manage a large scale GNSS network to be able to deliver a service level for safety of life is critical to addressing these new markets.
