The National Air Photo Library; Collection, Access and Services

The National Air Photo Library (NAPL) of Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) archives over 6 million federal aerial photographs covering all of Canada, some of which date back to the 1920s.  Access to NAPL can be done via the public reference centre in Ottawa or online via The National Earth Observation Data Framework (NEODF) application.  This application enables public and government users to search and order Government of Canada aerial photos and satellite images.

This presentation will describe in further detail the NAPL archive and how it is managed and accessed.  Also, described will be other products that the NAPL maintains, such as the Aerial Survey Data Base (ASDB) as well services that NAPL provides to clients.
