Google Maps for Work

Imagery has been a core component of Google Earth and Google Maps since their inception. The presentation will go over all of the types of imagery Google has available, from Aerial to Street View, for enterprise solutions. A few sample use cases that leverage this imagery will be covered and a variety of ways it can be accessed & integrated into specific solutions discussed.

The presentation will go into more detail around a less well-known product: Google aerial orthoimagery. Google has their own fleet of aircraft that collect aerial imagery as part of their continued global ambitions for the consumer facing Google Maps Product which is used by billions of users. This is an on-going significant investment into capturing the highest quality content that has become the most popular and easy to use digital atlas around the world. More exciting for enterprise applications is that this high quality orthoimagery is now available for purchase, allowing customers to do more with it than the standard Google Maps terms permit.
